This is a photo of bamboo growing in my garden. It grows at an alarming rate, you can see the stump where I have cut it down. The roots spread underground and emerge like an E type jaguar, one has just surfaced on the left.

This is a picture of bamboo growing in our local pub car park "The Pub" Chiang Mai. Just visible bottom left beyond the fence is a passing pick up truck. The height of the bamboo is approximately 4 meters and ideal Quad making material, once the termites have been evicted
